Tara Burnett is one of seven Red Cross employees in the region to receive the organization's Compassion Award, reflecting the Red Cross' "5 C's" of compassion, Credibility, Creativity, Commitment, and Collaboration, the Tulsa World reports.
"Tara embodies the compassion of the Red Cross, effectively conveying our mission to donors in a distinctive manner," says Red Cross Regional CEO Alice Townsend.
"And when there's cause for celebration, she wholeheartedly joins in camaraderie, spreading joy and enthusiasm."
