The National Association of Volunteering Works is now accepting applications for its grant and mentoring program, which aims to "empower and inspire the next generation of leaders," NAR President Kenny Parcell says in a press release.
"It is our goal to empower and inspire the next generation of leaders providing mentorship and guidance to make a lasting impact on the communities they serve through their nonprofit work."
Five recipients will be awarded a $1,000 grant to help improve their community programs.
They'll also receive a year of one-on-one mentoring from a member of NAR's Good Neighbor Society.
The deadline to apply is March 2023.
