The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana is offering free lunches to students for the rest of the school year, the News-Gazette reports.
According to WCIA, the school's McKinley Foundation is offering free lunches from noon to 1pm on Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year.
The food pantry is open from 11:30am to 1pm and the Giving Garden is open from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
The Giving Garden is open to anyone who wants to help plant, harvest, or harvest organic produce.
McKinley Foundation's mission is "to engage and empower students to reflect and act on social issues of justice, diversity, and sustainability," according to its website.
