If you're looking for a laptop that's as green as possible, Lenovo may have just the device for you.
The company has announced that its ThinkPad X1 laptops, which were unveiled at CES this year, contain up to 97% post-consumer recycled plastic in their battery casings and up to 95% in their speaker casings and AC adapters, TechCrunch reports.

The report also notes that the company has tripled its solar energy production in the past year through the installation of photovoltaic systems at its facilities and offices around the world, Bloomberg reports.
The company says it plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and 30% by 2050, according to the report, which also notes that the company's philanthropic efforts have resulted in more than $30 million in donations to more than 16 million people through programs and partnerships around the world.
