The Southern Poverty Law Center is providing Election Your Voice grants totaling $11,285,000 to 55 social and voter outreach organizations in five states over the Deep South.
The grants will support voter mobilization in local elections and also the 2022 midterm elections in addition to wider social engagement activities involving redistricting, voting legal rights advocacy and voting legal rights restoration.
The Election Your Voice initiative provides multiyear grants to organizations of any size over the Deep South to support that vital democracy-building work.
Vote Your Voice is an initiative of the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta announced in June 2020 with the goal of investing up to $30 million through 2022. Read the Entire Article
